The Platform Value Score

What is your platform worth?

Stake buyers price a management company at a multiple of its durable fee-related earnings. This assessment scores your firm across ten dimensions of platform maturity, each against a five-level rubric, and returns your implied management-company valuation range at minority-stake marks. It also shows the distance between your firm today and an upper-quartile ceiling construction — a 45% margin at an 11x multiple, the top of the market rather than the middle of it. About twelve minutes. The methodology is described at /platform-value.

Before the questions

A few facts about the firm. They drive the valuation math, and they stay in this browser session unless you choose to send them.

If blank, we use the midpoint of your AUM band.

The four percentages should total 100. They currently total 0.

If you leave all four blank, we assume a typical mid-market mix (40% in-period, 40% post-period, 10% perpetual, 10% SMA) and the report says so.

If blank, we assume the 1.0% to 1.25% band and the report says so.

If you don't know, we estimate it from your answers, and the report says so.

Your Implied ManCo Valuation, at Minority-Stake Marks

Fee stream only. Carried interest, balance sheet, and future-fund optionality — often the larger share of what a GP is worth — sit outside this number.

The number is the teaser. The report is the product.
